Danielle Young-Kombo

Event Coordinator

Danielle Young-Kombo is HealthTeamWorks' event coordinator/executive assistant. She joined the team in late 2010 after a year as admistrative assistant/membership coordinator with Jazz89 KUVO, a public radio station  in Denver. She attended Prairie View A&M University in Texas where she majored in music and theatre. Danielle has four boys and is married to an immigrant from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since her teen years she has volunteered for nonprofit and charitable organizations, such as The Center and the California AIDS Ride, while growing up in Los Angeles.  

In Denver, Danielle has worked for several nonprofits in an administrative and event coordinator capacity, including the Colorado AIDS Project. There she helped coordinate the 2008 Colorado AIDS Walk and Run, which drew more than 10,000 participants and volunteers.
