Niki Hyde, MEd, MS, HSAM
Quality Improvement Coach
Niki has worked in the field of healthcare, grief and trauma for over 20 years. For three years, she was with the trauma team at Columbine Connections, the community response and collaborative effort of six agencies that assisted in the aftermath of the Columbine Tragedy. She assisted in the development, implementation and wrote the curriculum for the Dragonfly Program, an educational grief program for children and adults, at Exempla Lutheran Hospice.
Prior to joining HealthTeamWorks, Niki was at Colorado Foundation for Medical Care (CFMC) where she managed three projects focusing on Cardiovascular Care in Hospitals.
Her book discussing lessons learned about grief, loss and trauma is due to be released October of 2011.
In her leisure time family, friends, church activities, the theater/symphony, watching her son coach high school football with her grandchildren and engaging in the lives of many friends from Morocco and Saudi Arabia become a priority.
