Shelli James

Quality Improvement Coach

Shelli James joined HealthTeamWorks as a quality improvement coach with the PCMH Foundations Program in May 2010. Before that she worked at National Jewish Health for more than 20 years in two distinct programs. She started as a mental health counselor for chronically ill children and adolescents,  and then joined the Marketing Department as community outreach manager. In that capacity Shelli provided program development, marketing, health screening and education to Coloradans and communities across the country. She also trained physicians nationally on providing community outreach programs for chronic disease and wellness.

Shelli received her BA in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. She loves to travel, hike and snowshoe. Shelli has dedicated her personal and professional life helping those with health problems.
