Antidepressant citalopram (Celexa) may pose risk of abnormal heart rhythms

On March 28, 2012, the Food and Drug Administration issued a drug safety communication for the antidepressant citalopram (marketed as Celexa). The communication addresses maximum doses for selected patient subgroups and recommends against use in some patients.
