Regional Extension Center Services

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act directed funds to specified organizations to provide technical assistance, guidance and information to support and accelerate the adoption and meaningful use of electronic health records (EHRs) by healthcare providers. Organizations named to oversee the implementation of these programs are called Regional Extension Centers (RECs).

HealthTeamWorks is one of six organizations working on behalf of the Colorado Regional Extension Center (CO-REC) and the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) to provide EHR support services in the state.
