Angela Schindler-Berg

Angela Schindler-Berg has worked in the community-based behavioral health field for over 26 years. She is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and is experienced in mental health integration, care management, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

Ms. Shindler-Berg started at HealthTeamWorks 2018 as a Project Lead for the Nebraska Regional Learning Faculty in the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) Initiative, serving as the primary liaison, coach, and facilitator for participating primary care practices. 

Currently, Ms. Schindler-Berg supports the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Munroe Meyer Institute as a Regional Trainer for the Region 7 Mid-America Mental Health Technical Transfer Center (MHTTC). She facilitates a collaborative network of support, focusing on resource development and dissemination, training and technical assistance, and workforce development for the mental health field.

Before joining HealthTeamWorks, Ms. Schindler-Berg worked as a Program Manager in an integrated care clinic in Omaha, Nebraska. She provided leadership in program development and organization processes, oversaw data collection, and analyzed data outcomes. She has worked with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) on the Primary and Behavioral Health Care Initiative (PBHCI).

Ms. Schindler-Berg received a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State College and a Master of Science from Drake University in Rehabilitation Administration and Community Clinical Counseling.
