Jeffrey Rivest is a senior health systems executive with over 40 years of experience in complex academic health centers and health systems. He has significant experience in design and organizational development, building talented and successful leadership teams, and establishing strong, patient-centered cultures at every level of an organization. Jeff is known as a focused and passionate leader who builds consensus and brings best practices to achieve specific operational, financial and quality goals.

Prior to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the University of Maryland Medical Center, a $1.6 billion hospital with 7,000 employees and 1,000 medical staff, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has also served in senior leadership roles at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Georgetown University Medical Center.

Jeff holds a MS degree from George Washington University and a BS degree from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous corporate and community boards.
